- Atmel's new AVR battery management devices
Atmel new single-chip smart battery solutions provide protection, authentication and gas-gauging. These low cost and easy to use solutions offer a high accuracy voltage protection, an advanced current protection and low power consumption for high- and low-end cell phones, portable media players, digital still and video cameras, games applications.
This unique combination of very high analog performance, very low power consumption and ease of use enables users to create the highest performing batteries at the shortest time.
- Atmel’s new battery management reference designs
Atmel will demo:
- its new evaluation board which includes Lithium-Ion batteries, a programmable charger and load and a USB to serial communication gateway.
- two new reference designs to show how to get the most out of its AVR battery management devices. The firmware provides all needed safety measures for a Lithium-Ion battery.
