Analog Companions (PMAAC)

Atmel's PMAAC (Power Management And Analog Companion) product line offers a wide set of analog companion ICs to application processors in most popular applications. In particular PMAAC products integrate Power Supplies such as Linear Regulator (LDO) and Switching Converters (DCDC), Audio Interface such as Stereo DAC, Audio Codec for high quality audio conversion and fully integrated battery charger for Li-Ion recharge in continuous and pulsed mode.

An integrated Analog Companion IC reduces board space and cost by replacing a number of discrete components. Its microcontroller interface enables the MCU to optimize the system's power consumption.
